Our Story
As I was preparing for a group coaching session, I was feeling overwhelmed with everything going on that day and having a hard time deciding where to focus. I realized if I was feeling this way, some members of my group may be feeling the same way and decided to begin the session with a minute for everyone to take a deep breath, close out any distractions, and decide how they wanted to show up for the next hour. At the end of the program, which included a comprehensive mix of leadership assessments, learning sessions, development planning, and coaching, several group members credited that minute as their most important takeaway. They had started implementing the practice at the beginning of all their meetings, and had noticed significant improvement in their ability to focus, and be intentional about their presence and performance.
